Location: Hollywood, near Wythall (B47)
Hours: 30 per week
Pay: £14.00 per hour + £60 per sleep-in

About the Role
We’re looking for a warm, reliable and caring Personal Assistant to support a friendly and sociable 32-year-old man living in the Hollywood area near Wythall. He’s looking for someone to join his small team and help him live his life to the fullest—his way.
This role includes some live-in or overnight support, and no two days will ever feel the same!
About the Employer
You’ll be supporting a gentleman with Down Syndrome, Autism, and Sensory Processing Disorder. He enjoys being active, getting out into the community, and spending time with the people who matter to him. Your role will help him maintain independence, enjoy his hobbies, and live a happy, fulfilling daily life.
What You’ll Be Doing
A typical week could involve:
Social & Community Activities:
- Helping keep in touch with family and friends
- Supporting him at medical appointments
- Joining him for activities like Special Olympics sessions, tricycling in Southall, trampolining, lunch club, and even litter-picking at Arrow Valley Park
Personal Care:
- Providing friendly, respectful support with personal care routines
Daily Living & Home Tasks:
- Grocery shopping and preparing tasty, nutritious meals
- Light cleaning, laundry, changing bed linen and keeping things homely

Preferred but not essential: previous experience in care, support or working with people whose behaviour can sometimes challenge.
A driving licence is essential, and a pool car is available to make things easier.
Hours & Schedule
30 hours per week, made up of two shifts:
08:00 – 23:00 + a sleep-in
This takes place twice per week.
Requirements
Essential:
- Full driving licence
- Access to a car with suitable insurance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong relationship-building skills
Preferred:
- Experience in care or support
- Good communication and listening skills

This role is funded by the Local Authority and paid every four weeks.
